Fawn Loved It! Fawn had a professional massage today with Jo Bakal, Tezoona Wellness. They had not met before, so Jo went slow, she was very relaxed and good with Fawn. A couple of my cats came out to join in too! If you have a pet with arthritis or healing from surgery, I highly recommend Jo. Fawn loved it! Pamela M.
Relaxation to the Rescues Jo worked with a number of our dogs over a few weeks and it was evident that the dogs benefited from her work based on their movements. Glen H. Humane Society of Tampa Bay
Palliative Canine Care Jo came to work on my aging Lab and she was just wonderful. Her care, knowledge and connection were so beautiful to watch. My dog is arthritic and seems to be uncomfortable moving around at times. Jo had her relaxed and comfortable within minutes. It is clear that she loves and has passion for this work. I am so happy that I can do something to give my sweet girl some peace !!!! I highly highly recommend Jo !! Jennie W.

Animal Massage & Integrative Bodywork
Like people, animals of all ages can experience muscle tension, stiffness, physical and emotional stressors, and restrictions that may affect their comfort, mobility, behavior, and overall quality of life. Animal massage and integrative bodywork can be a valuable part of a comprehensive wellness plan, helping to support healthy movement, flexibility, relaxation, and overall well-being.
Every animal is unique. Age, activity level, health history, personality, and life experiences all influence how an animal feels and moves. Through careful observation and assessment, I work to understand each animal's individual needs and develop an approach that best supports their comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
Jo has enjoyed working with a variety of animals, including dogs, horses, and donkeys, adapting each session to the individual needs, personality, comfort level, and life experiences of the animal.
Each session is customized to the individual animal with the goal of supporting greater comfort, ease of movement, relaxation, and overall well-being. Working in your animal's familiar environment allows me to observe them more naturally and better understand factors that may be influencing movement, comfort, and behavior. Depending on the needs of the animal, sessions may draw from one or more approaches, including massage, myofascial release, acupressure, gentle stretching, range-of-motion work, and Reiki.
