Qigong

Qigong For Health & Well-Being

Qi means energy. Gong means work. Qigong is an ancient practice that engages the mind, body, and breath to promote health, build resiliency, and support healing. Through movement, breathing, and meditation, it helps cultivate balance and well-being.

One of the things I love most about Qigong is how portable it is. You don't need anything to practice except your body, your breath, and your mindset. The space available simply determines the practice—from deep breathing and self-healing massage to gentle or more vigorous movements. I've practiced Qigong at the airport, on the beach, and even in a swimming pool!

About Jo

I have been reaping the rewards of Tai Chi and Qigong for more than 30 years, beginning my studies in New York at the Society of Nanlaoshu, followed by instructor training with Long White Cloud Qigong. I have been teaching Qigong since 2018 and continue to learn while maintaining a regular personal practice.

Because my background spans multiple wellness modalities and I'm naturally curious and love learning, I draw from a variety of tools in my teaching. My goal is to create welcoming experiences where people feel comfortable exploring Qigong and discovering practical skills they can use in everyday life.
